Abstract:Severe water wall wear are common in circulating fluidized bed (CFB) boilers. Active wear protections are generally achieved by installing anti-wear beams or anti-wear grids at present, but these methods will cause changes in the flow field and affect the boiler operating parameters and heat transfer in furnace. Therefore, the calculation model for whole furnace water wall heat transfer of CFB boiler was established, and the calculation method, which was suitable for CFB boilers with anti-wear devices, for particle concentration and heat transfer area correction coefficient in the side wall area was proposed. At last heat transfer characteristics in the furnace of a 440 t/h CFB boiler were calculated by using the model. The results show that the heat transfer coefficient and heat transfer capacity decrease after the water wall is installed with anti-wear beams, and the decrease is closely related to the number of anti-wear beams. Specifically, when 6 and 12 anti-wear beams were used, the heat transfer coefficient decreased by 0.32% and 2.89%, and the heat transfer decreased by 3.28% and 8.68%, respectively. Comparatively speaking, the installation of anti-wear grid has less effect on the heat transfer coefficient and heat transfer capacity than anti-wear beam. A certain heat transfer enhancement effect was exhibited and heat transfer quantity increased slightly when the same number of grids as beams were installed. When the number of anti-wear grids increased to 30, the heat transfer coefficient decreased by 5.76% and the heat transfer increased by 1.59%. Anti-wear grid has less impact on boiler operation while reducing wear of water wall, which is better than anti-wear beam. The model can provide a theoretical reference for the selection of CFB boiler anti-wear technology and the design optimization.
