Abstract:The constructive information hiding algorithm based on element mapping faces security concerns due to the pattern library leakage. Based on this issue, a novel constructive information hiding algorithm was proposed, which generated tiled images through covert contour drawing and color filling to enhance security. B-spline curves were utilized to establish standard structured representations for multiple pattern contours and shared standardized structured representation libraries and color libraries were created for both the sender and receiver. Selection of standardized structured representations, pattern outline drawing, and color filling operations were performed based on secret information to obtain covert patterns. Multiple discretely distributed covert patterns collectively formed a covert tiled image. Our experiments demonstrated that this algorithm had strong robustness against common image attacks such as JPEG compression, median filtering, and Gaussian filtering. Furthermore, our algorithm can withstand more types of image attacks compared to similar algorithms.
